2012 Calendar Cover Imagery

"Caliente Sunrise." Palm Springs CA
It's no wonder why Lucy and Desi loved this area of our great country. Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and the rat pack pals were living it up in the place where "Coolness is timeless." This beautiful sunrise glow is the perfect backdrop for one of the finest remaining examples of Tiki and Polynesian styled Palm Springs hotels built in the 1960s. The Caliente Tropics Hotel Palm Springs, California, certainly is a place to visit!

"The saturated front, a windy Sunrise." Victorville NV
Jammed in between three storms surrounding the San Bernardino mountains, and heading toward the Mojave Desert, this sunrise was spectacular. While composing this image, the high winds made it a challenge to even stand up without being thrown like a tumbleweed.
I hope you enjoy these and other images from my 2012 calendar collaboration with Aloma Printing (www.alomaprinting.com) in Winter Park, Florida.

All the best.

Kenny Loggins and Glendale Pops Imagery by Ewasko

Well Elissa Glickman did it again, and orchestrated a tremendous concert at the Alex!

I thought you would enjoy seeing fresh off the Nikon digital, images of Kenny Loggins with the Glendale Pops Orchestra photographed by yours truly on Friday, Feb. 10 at the historic Alex Theatre in downtown Glendale, California.

Kenny and his band, accompanied by the ultra-talented Matt Catingub and the Glendale Pops Orchestra, brought the house down, exciting the audience at the packed Alex Theatre. Truly an amazing performance.

We are proud, and very grateful, to be the chosen imagemakers by Elissa, and the Alex Theatre and Glendale Arts. It is certainly a privilege to be associated with such amazingly talented people.

All the best.

Hope all is well! I am sending you the images attached to show you some of the encounters I had on the way to the Oregon Coastline. A few of them are part of a framespan series with more to come! The area reminded me of Pennsylvania and the Susquahanna River where I grew up.

Enjoy!

All the best.
